B&K Precision expands its offering of Triple Output DC Power Supplies

Yorba Linda, CA  May, 2009 – B&K Precision’s new model 1762 Triple Output DC Power Supply provides two variable voltage outputs of 0 to 60V/0 to 2A and one variable 4 to 6.5V/4A output. Each output is fully floating and outputs can be adjusted independently or connected in series or parallel to produce higher voltages or currents. Priced at only $725.00, the 1762 offers exceptional performance at a very reasonable price and is an ideal supply for use in Education, Service and Repair, and Manufacturing and applications that require multiple positive and negative voltages.

The power supply’s 4 digit display offers 10mV and 1mA resolution and the capability to set voltage and current values more accurately and precisely compared to 3 digit displays found on many comparable power supplies.  The voltage meter resolution is 0 to 99.99, the amperage meter resolution is 0 to 9.999, and both meters offer an accuracy of +0.5% readings + 9 digits.

The compact bench top unit (5.7” H x 10.5” D x 15” W), 145mm x 267mm x 381mm) weighs 21 lb. (9.5 kg) and can operate continuously at full load without overheating.  The 1762 also features low ripple and noise and over-current, over-voltage and reverse polarity protection.
