25 MHz Arbitrary/Function Generators deliver precision waveforms at an affordable price

Yorba Linda, CA  February, 2009 - B&K Precision introduces two new models of high performance, full featured 25 MHz Arbitrary/Function Generators with the largest arbitrary memory depth in their class. Models 4075 and 4078 combine the ability to produce nearly any conceivable arbitrary waveform with accuracy and precision and use Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) architecture to generate Sine and Square Waveforms up to 25 MHz.  At an attractive price of only $1,495 for the single channel Model 4075 and $2,350 for the dual channel Model 4078, they are best suited for cost conscious engineers in the electronics, automotive, aerospace, government, medical and computer industries.

Both Models produce arbitrary waveforms having 14 bit amplitude resolution, 100 MSa/s sample rate and up to 400,000 points length. Waveforms can be output in continuous, triggered, gated or burst modes. Front panel operation is straightforward and user-friendly and the instruments can be remotely controlled using SCPI-compliant commands via RS-232.

Extensive features such as internal or external AM, FM, and FSK modulation, along with versatile sweep capabilities, variable edge pulse generation and programmable markers make these generators suitable for a wide range of applications including electronic design, sensor simulation, and functional test or generation of I/Q modulated signals.

The ten 8500 Series models offer a broad range of ratings, ranging from 300 W to 5000 W, 30 A to 240 A, and 60 V to 500 V.

The 8500 Series DC loads can operate in CC, CV, CR or CP mode while voltage/current or resistance/power values are measured and displayed in real time. The load terminals are isolated and floating. Extensive protection, including over temperature, over power, over voltage, over current and reverse polarity will help protect your valuable prototype.  All parameters can be set quickly and precisely from the front panel, or programmed via RS232 (included) or USB (optional) interfaces.
